I bought this flashlight in February 2010 it worked till July. It was a giftI felt really bad. All the reviews were good I put confidence in the product. I feel really bad it didnt hold up to its reviews.

Fantastic multi-use light  
Im a big fan of flashlights (what guy isnt?) and this one gets top marks for versatility. You can put it in the pen loop of most backpacks and bags so its always handy. I have a couple of these lights one in each bag I carry regularly and I use them often because theyre right at hand. My high-dollar Surefire lights on the other hand are usually at home when Im dressed for business.

Quality is top-notch. The barrel is metal and very durable. The switch can be used for either momentary light or click on/off. (It baffles me that many lights dont have proper switches that allow for momentary use.) It takes normal batteries the LED will last forever... whats not to like?

Brightness is above-par given the size of the light. Its not a tactical light but its still plenty of light for most any utility work. Beam is even no dark spots. Color temperature is on the cool side (typical for LEDs) Id estimate 6500K.

Amazing Light!!!  
I have already purchased 2 of these lights. The batteries seem to last forever and it is extremely bright. This light is small enough to carry in your shirt pocket like an ink pen but has the brightness of a full size flashlight. I carry one in my car for emergencies. Streamlight is an awesome company and they stand behind their products 100% - what else could you ask for?
This flashlight was given to me as a gift by my son. I used it a lot and eventually the switch failed. My son told me they had a lifetime warranty so I mailed it in and 3 weeks letter I had a replacement light. Anybody who wants to complain about an inexpensive flashlight even if it failed when the company will replace it is nuts. This is the best light - it works GREAT and is the size of a pen. medical exam light  
First I want to state that this is one of many Streamlight products I own and it is perfectly made and top quality. And for that I give this light a 5 star rating. I bought this for doing medical eye exams and used some of the reviews to base my decision. I give this light a 4 in this category because although it will do skin and throat luminosity wonderful for eye test and observation it is simply just too bright. It is painful for the patient if you cross directly in front of the eye and you cannot sweep across their face and you must come in from the side and then over the head to the other side and come in again only close to center as it will be so bright it becomes uncomfortable for them. Great tool to have in your gear but you really need something with less strength for eye test. I would like to find something I could put over the end of it to diffuse and tone it back for this purpose and then have the ability to remove for other uses where it is a benefit to have such a strong : 2010-09-16 02:37:30
